kbco design design process: programming
This is the informational gathering phase of the project. We research; identify and analyze the needs and goals of the client; evaluate existing conditions; assess project resources and limitations; identify code requirements and develop project schedules and budgets.
conceptual/ schematic design
Design work begins on the project. Using the research gathered during programming kbco design provides proposed space planning, finishes and development of creative ideas to maximize the space. Through concept, the design moves toward a solution.
design development
At this level, the design solution is agreed upon that was developed during concepting. Ideas begin to become reality through the development of construction documents.
construction documents
kbco design provides the set of documents that form a part of the legal contract for services between two or more parties. These typically include detailed instructions to the contractor, tender forms, construction documents and specifications. kb+co. signs and seals drawings for submission to the city for permitting.
services/ installation
Dependant upon the scope of each project, kb+co. offers purchasing and installation services for materials, finishes and furniture for residential and small commercial projects.
